As you’ve noticed, I have not updated this site in a few years. Perhaps at some point I will make time to update the trip stories. The site will remain as a reference for trip stories and ideas. I hope you enjoy the material! Safe travels!

The 2015 calendars are back from the printer and I am preparing to mail them. The website updates with the trip pictures are still in progress (check back in January). I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year! Thanks for the feedback and support for the website.

Wow! Reignwolf, the guitar player I first saw in New Orleans at Voodoo Fest in 2013, is one of Rolling Stone Magazine’s 10 New Artists You Need to Know for January 2014. I have also learned that he is touring across Canada in April with Black Sabbath, and he will be in Columbus Ohio this summer at Rock on the Range. MUST SEE.

Happy New Year! The calendars were dropped in the mail yesterday, so expect them soon. If you don’t receive yours by January 6, please drop me a note via this website. I hope you enjoy the pictures and stories from 2013 and hope that your new 2014 calendar sees you through a very safe and happy New Year!

Wow. That time of year already! Recuperating from Thanksgiving dinner and working on the 2014 calendar.

What an eventful trip! Well, years ago I promised myself that I would try to come back with “my bike or better”. You can read about how I put that to the test during our annual group event, this time in Colorado.

I wish you a very Happy New Year! All of the content has been moved to the new site, and I have been using th holiday weekend to write some of the other trip stories and sort through photos. There are maps for all of the trips, so you can at least see where I went. I hope to continue to get these documented for your enjoyment, as well as to aid my memory. I am sure that some of the trip stories will be rather brief, as the details have faded from memory (which is another reason for me to get them out there soon). Certainly, the trips from 2006 and forward are more complete. The new layout will also allow me to add some photos in with the stories, so that should help make it more interesting and readable.
I’ve received several emails indicating that calendars have been received by many, so let me know if you still need one.

Well, so much for the Mayan Apocalypse. The calendars have arrived from the printer, and I will start mailing them out soon. They won’t arrive before Christmas, but should arrive before New Year’s. If you are expecting one in the mail, please wait until after the 2nd to contact me. If you have received one of the past calendars, I certainly would like you to receive one, so do not be afraid to ask (and I apologize)! The 2012 Summer trip story is in progress (you can see how it is coming along, on the Trips menu). I also have the Y2K trip out there (remember that other apocalypse??). Please send comments and let me know what you think of the new site. It’s not an exciting layout, but the main point is to have the pictures and stories available, and I can work on the look/feel later.

I am waiting for Kenwel Printers to finish printing the 2013 calendars. As long as the Mayans were wrong, the calendars should be in the mail before Christmas (I will post here when they are mailed, so you can let me know if you want or need one). I am trying to use some new programs to run this website, and it should (operative word) be much easier for me to update and maintain this site. I will be adding the newest trips first, then trying to migrate some of the older pictures and stories after that.
Stay tuned!
