Wrapping up the Camping Trip

While at the campground, I get a birthday card for Beard.  During the week, I get folks to sign it. To make it more fun, I take pictures of them signing the card, just to make it more fun.  Beard and Peanuts are certainly a big part of this group, so it was fun to be able to include them, indirectly, in his birthday surprise party.

Paul and Mike suggest that I stop on my way home to see them at their ranch in Texas. I tell them when I will be on my way back from Phoenix, and they remember that they had plans to be elsewhere that week.  As it works out, they were going to be in the Ozarks that week, in the town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  I have been to the town, briefly, the year before, and had friends living there that I was unable to visit, so this sounded like the perfect excuse to go.  Paul and Mike were planning on going to see an opera festival in the Ozarks, and our friend Bubba, from Tennessee, agreed to go along.  Odd? Yes, but, a chance to party with these guys is something I try not to turn down.  Even if I am not a big fan of the music, there will be lots of fun during the four days together.

The plan is complete. All the holes in my schedule were now filled.  Wow, the rest of this trip is going to be FUN!
